MECHANICS & GUIDELINES:

AUDITIONS

•During auditions, no musical accompaniment or instruments should be used. This is to avoid delays and to audibly hear the vocals of the participants for the singing contest.

CONTEST PROPER

•CD’s, USB’s and song for the FINAL round should be submitted on or before Feb   , 2016. Change of songs on the day of the competition is STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED.

DANCE CONTEST

BIT IC Covered Court

Date:

Members of the dance group must be a bonafide students of BIT IC currently enrolled for S.Y. 2015-2016.

Dance groups should consist of a minimum of five (5) members and a maximum of ten (10).

Music must be in Bisaya dialect/version may be old or new.

Dance interpretation must reflect old dance style and movement.

Groups should also be composed of both male and female members.

The group may dance any kind of dance with a minimum of 3minutes and a maximum of 4minutes, a corresponding deduction is given per second of time lapsed.

No liquid or flammable materials are allowed in the contest.

Contestants must pass the auditions conducted by the BIT IC PRODUCTION TEAM on the following Dates:

Jan. 28 and 29, 2016

New AVR 8-5pm

The contest prizes are as follows:

Champion-P 1,000.00 1st

Runner Up-P 700.00 2nd

Runner Up-P 500.00 3rd

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING:

Mastery & Timing- 25%

Choreography & Style- 30%

Costume & Props- 20%

Audience Impact- 10%

Solo or Duet (both male and female) is allowed.

Music must be in Bisaya dialect/version may be old or new.

Performance will be minimum of 3minutes and a maximum of 4minutes, a corresponding deduction is given per second of time lapsed.

Contestants must pass the auditions conducted by the BIT IC PRODUCTION TEAM on the following Dates:

Jan. 28 and 29, 2016

Voice Quality- 35%

Mastery & Timing- 25%

Star Appeal- 30%

Audience Impact- 10%

Total-100%

BALAK CONTEST

There will only be one (1) contestant per department.

Piece must be in Bisaya dialect/version.

Performance will be maximum of 3minutes, a corresponding deduction is given per second of time lapsed.

Contestants must pass the auditions conducted by the BIT IC PRODUCTION TEAM on the following Dates:
